I had such a wonderful time capturing Maxwell's Duke University graduation photos this spring! I learned that he was a student-athlete on Duke's fencing team, and we captured this special season of life at some of his favorite spots around campus. We photographed portraits at the iconic red bridge in Duke Gardens, Duke Chapel, and Chapel Drive before ending with some fun celebratory photos. It was also special to include his girlfriend, Hollis, and his good friend, Justin, in part of the session. I think what stood out to me from the shoot was how cheerful and humorous he was! I had a delightful time working with the A family again at UNC’s Coker Arboretum for a spring photo shoot! I arrived early and saw the kids were finishing up dinner before the session, and I had to take some cute pics of them eating and checking out their toys from Chick fil a :) After they were done, we captured a couple of sweet family photos around the garden. The kids also LOVED running (and were running around most of the shoot!) and I wanted to capture how happy they were running! Y’all, this lifestyle newborn was absolutely incredible! I had the honor of working with the S family again in Durham as they welcomed their second baby boy :) They are truly one of the most relaxed and chill families I’ve worked with, and every moment was magic. Their oldest son was such a sweet older brother, and I was amazed at how well he followed all my directions (especially for a toddler!). Their dog was also happily involved with the shoot, and even sat next to the baby at one point during the session! Their baby boy was just as amazing, and one of his unique features was his stunning deep blue eyes. Most of all, I loved capturing their love and connection with one another!
