Lindsey’s graduation session was a JOY to photograph! She recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University, and brought along her mom and daughter to celebrate this occasion. Even though the day was VERY chilly (with temperatures in the 30s!) Lindsey and her family were troopers! Lindsey was a natural in front of the camera, and truly nailed all of the poses (I especially love her jumping ones!). It was truly a pleasure working with her and capturing this special season of life for her and her family. Congratulations, Lindsey, on such an incredible accomplishment!! :)

I had such a fun time photographing Anna, a recent Jordan High School grad, for her senior session this spring! Anna is heading to UNC Wilmington in the fall, and it was such a joy to capture this milestone before she starts her next chapter. We did her session at UNC Chapel Hill, though Anna wanted to avoid anything that felt too “UNC”. Instead, we focused on more timeless, natural backdrops across campus, and it ended up being the perfect blend of elegance and personality. I had such a fun time capturing graduation photos for Kai this spring! He was earning his master’s from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, and we made sure to hit all the iconic spots. We kicked things off with a classic shot at the Duke sign on the corner of Chapel Drive and Duke University Rd, then headed to Duke Gardens for some beautiful family portraits. It was such a joy to meet his family—including both his maternal and paternal grandmothers! You could see how proud they all were! :)

We also spent time along Chapel Drive and by the Duke Chapel for the iconic campus shots. We then wrapped up the photo shoot at his department building, Grainger Hall, which I thought was so special and meaningful! Scroll down to see some of my favorite moments from this joyful graduation session!
