It was such an honor to capture these Duke graduation photos for this wonderful group of friends! These ladies met each other through Duke Law and became fast friends. Before the shoot, they sent me some ideas of the poses and locations they want to do photos at, and I loved that we did a few photos in the Law Library! I had such a wonderful time capturing Maxwell's Duke University graduation photos this spring! I learned that he was a student-athlete on Duke's fencing team, and we captured this special season of life at some of his favorite spots around campus. We photographed portraits at the iconic red bridge in Duke Gardens, Duke Chapel, and Chapel Drive before ending with some fun celebratory photos. It was also special to include his girlfriend, Hollis, and his good friend, Justin, in part of the session. I think what stood out to me from the shoot was how cheerful and humorous he was! Lindsey’s graduation session was a JOY to photograph! She recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University, and brought along her mom and daughter to celebrate this occasion. Even though the day was VERY chilly (with temperatures in the 30s!) Lindsey and her family were troopers! Lindsey was a natural in front of the camera, and truly nailed all of the poses (I especially love her jumping ones!). It was truly a pleasure working with her and capturing this special season of life for her and her family. Congratulations, Lindsey, on such an incredible accomplishment!! :)
