I had the wonderful honor of photographing the G family recently, and their little girl was also named Genevieve! This was the first time I’ve had a session with someone who shared the same name as me and it was so special :)

We had a blast capturing baby G’s one year milestone, and I had so much fun capturing the whole family interacting and playing with one another. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing how much baby G LOVED sitting in the small corner next to the couch, and playing peek-a-boo with mom and dad! It truly was the cutest thing. We also a lot of fun outside, and I loved watching her explore the outdoors. She also loved pinwheels, and it was so fun to capture her fascination with them!

It is always a JOY to work with returning clients, especially those who live out of state! I had a TON of fun working with the P family again this spring at Duke University. I captured their photos back in 2018, and it was so sweet to see how their family has grown! :) Before we started the session, the kids were eating McDonald’s and I thought it would be a fun shot to capture them enjoying their fries and nuggets (it was certainly a childhood favorite of mine!). Their littlest loved her chicken McNuggets and had the most adorable smile! We then photographed some beautiful family photos around the chapel, and captured some awesome moments…including their middle child doing the splits! There were so many other sweet and silly moments, and it truly was a wonderful time documenting this special season of life for them. See more of my favorite moments below!

I had a blast working with the K family again! This time they wanted to capture and celebrate their second daughter’s one-year milestone at home! We started off with some snacks since the girls were hungry, and I absolutely LOVED how their baby girl devoured her strawberry and happily drank her milk. We also did story time upstairs in their house, but that lasted for a few minutes as the girls were more interested in climbing and jumping :) We decided to head outside and the girls were SO excited—they didn’t even stop to put their shoes on! We then took a short walk around their neighborhood, and it was so sweet to capture the silliness and love of their family.
