I had such a fun time photographing Anna, a recent Jordan High School grad, for her senior session this spring! Anna is heading to UNC Wilmington in the fall, and it was such a joy to capture this milestone before she starts her next chapter. We did her session at UNC Chapel Hill, though Anna wanted to avoid anything that felt too “UNC”. Instead, we focused on more timeless, natural backdrops across campus, and it ended up being the perfect blend of elegance and personality. I had the joy of working with the S family again as they welcomed their second child—a beautiful baby girl! One of the things I love about this family is how joyful and connected they are. They laugh easily, and their affection for each other is so natural and heartwarming!

Their older daughter was especially excited to become a big sister. She kept leaning her head on her baby sister and giving her sweet little kisses, which was absolutely adorable! She also got a chance to hold her baby sister—she loved it so much, she wanted to do the same with her teddy bear! :) We also captured some tender moments of the whole family, mom and baby, and dad and baby. Baby E was so chill and relaxed the entire session, and was an absolute dream to photograph!

It’s always an honor to photograph returning families year after year, and the C family is no exception! We've been working together for the past 4–5 years, and it's been such a JOY watching their kids grow and their personalities shine through with each session. This spring, we did family photos at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh. Even though it was a humid day, the energy and excitement from the kids made it so much fun! They came ready with BIG smiles and so much enthusiasm—it was a blast capturing all those candid, joy-filled moments. One of my favorite parts of the session was towards the end, when their son showed me some of his soccer moves.
