If you’d like to bring your dog to a photo shoot, please do—your furry pals are always welcome! :) I had the honor of working with the J family again, and this time they were celebrating the addition of a sweet new puppy, Violet. She was SO soft and cuddly, and their girls absolutely adored her!

We captured a fun mix of posed and candid moments of the whole family, and every image turned out truly beautiful. One funny note from the day: it happened to coincide with the Chris Brown concert, and the traffic was the worse I’ve ever seen in Raleigh (iykyk). Despite the chaos, we made it to and from the park safely and pulled off an incredible session!

I had such a wonderful time capturing photos with the C family again this fall! We met at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, and the session kicked off with lots of running :) Tara’s daughter is one of the most athletic and fastest kids I’ve ever met—and I remember thinking the same thing last year, too! She truly loves to run and move, and it was such a joy to capture her in her element. We explored the open fields and also made our way down to the bridge and lake, which was absolutely beautiful. My favorite part, though, was simply documenting the love and connection between Tara and her sweet daughter. I had a wonderful time capturing lifestyle family photos for the R family again at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh! This location is one of my favorite spots for family photography, thanks to its endless variety of scenic backdrops throughout the park.

We began our session near the Mirror Labyrinth, where we captured some playful and candid moments of their son searching for his mom and dad amongst the mirrors. We then headed toward the museum and saw a HAWK perched on top of the silver tree!! For the second half of the session, we explored the open fields and photographed some sweet family moments near the famous rings. The Bubble Man also happened to be there that evening, and their son absolutely LOVED chasing, popping, and punching the bubbles! :)
