I truly had SO much fun working with Reese for her senior photos at Dix Park in Raleigh! She was absolutely delightful to work with and has one of the best smiles and laughs! :) Her mom originally reached out to me about senior photos after seeing some of the photos I had captured with the sunflowers at Dix Park. Reese loves nature and wanted to incorporate sunflowers into her senior portraits, and thankfully, the timing worked out perfectly! If you’re familiar with the Dix Park sunflowers, you know they don’t last long…they last only about two weeks!

One of my favorite parts of Reese’s session was how she made it personal to her. She brought along her favorite stuffed bear and a favorite book, and we had so much fun incorporating both into her photos! I also learned that Reese is an animal lover (she even has pet frogs!), so it seemed especially fitting to have the bees buzzing around the sunflower field while we were taking photos! :)

I had such a fun time photographing Anna, a recent Jordan High School grad, for her senior session this spring! Anna is heading to UNC Wilmington in the fall, and it was such a joy to capture this milestone before she starts her next chapter. We did her session at UNC Chapel Hill, though Anna wanted to avoid anything that felt too “UNC”. Instead, we focused on more timeless, natural backdrops across campus, and it ended up being the perfect blend of elegance and personality. It was truly a JOY to work with E for her high school senior session! We captured her photos at the beautiful NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, and I had a blast documenting her senior photos on the grassy fields. We had time to do two outfits, and I was excited when she told me her second outfit was a red dress—she will be attending NC State University next year, so red was a fitting choice! :) Most of all, I was truly blown away at how poised E was, and I have no doubt she will do amazing things in her future!
