A Cheerful Newborn Session at Home | Durham Newborn Photographer

What a JOY it was to work with the sweet A family again, and capture their growing family! They welcomed their second baby boy this spring, and we photographed their newborn lifestyle session at their home. Their toddler son amazingly gave us a TON of happy smiles during the shoot, and was such a sweet big brother to Baby P! Towards the end of the shoot, he even gave a kiss to his baby brother and it was ADORABLE :) See more precious moments from this beautiful newborn shoot below!

A Delightful Maternity Session at the NCMA | Raleigh Maternity Photographer

I had an absolutely wonderful time capturing maternity photos for this sweet couple! We documented their maternity photos at the gorgeous NC Museum of Art, and I remember even though it was May, it was a bit windy and chilly that day. That didn’t stop us from having an awesome time, though! :) One of the things I loved about them was their cheerful nature and ability to laugh easily with each other. Most of all, I truly enjoyed capturing their love for one another and their excitement for their baby! See some of my favorite moments below from this beautiful maternity session!

A Joyous Graduation Portrait Session | Duke Graduation Photography

It was such a joy working with Amanda, a recent master’s graduate from Duke University! We had a blast capturing photos around Duke Chapel, and one of the things I loved about working with her was her enthusiasm and cheerful nature. We did a lot of portraits as well as fun jumping photos and tossing-the-cap photos!

She also incorporated a Porg plush in her shoot. I learned that the Porgs were created because when filming The Last Jedi, they couldn’t remove the puffins that were on the island. So instead of editing the puffins out, they turned them into Porgs! For her, the Porgs symbolized the idea of making something great out of a bad situation. After being in a career rut, it led her to nurture her passion for health IT and brought her to Duke! I thought that was such a beautiful story, and loved how she incorporate the Porg into her shoot :)

See more amazing highlights from this wonderful graduation session below! Congrats again, Amanda, and thank you for entrusting me to capture this special season of life for you!
