There’s something special about having extended family together—and Jack’s surprise 70th birthday celebration was the perfect reason to gather everyone in one place! His daughter, Samantha, reached out to me because they were planning a surprise party for her dad’s birthday in Durham, NC, and she wanted to take advantage of the occasion to capture updated family photos while everyone was together. With family and friends gathered from all over to celebrate such an important milestone, it was a wonderful opportunity to document this precious moment in time! I truly had SO much fun capturing this special occasion, and it was clear how loved Jack was by his family and friends. After a year and a half of waiting, Cassandra and Blake were able to finally celebrate their special day with their friends and family! :) Some of you may remember they held a very small, intimate wedding ceremony last year on their original wedding date (see blog here) and decided to postpone their larger gathering to 2021.

It truly was such a JOY and honor to document their larger gathering this year! All the details were so beautiful, and I especially loved seeing the excitement on everyone’s faces. Two Roosters were also there and served ice cream during the reception! It was such a fun and sweet treat! :) See more beautiful highlights from this wonderful day below! I had the honor of photographing Collin and Rheaghan’s wedding recently, and it was such an incredible day! We captured their BEAUTIFUL wedding at The Addison Farm in Elon, and the venue was stunning and romantic in every way (the rolling hills were so picturesque!). Collin and Rheaghan are such a down-to-earth and genuine couple, and their love and connection with each other were so evident! My favorite part was photographing their portraits after the ceremony. They seriously have the BEST laughs and smiles, and were so natural in front of the camera! I loved how they were truly just themselves :) Enjoy seeing some of my favorite highlights below!
