I had such a wonderful time capturing Emile and Nick’s maternity session at Umstead Park! They were absolutely delightful to work with, and it was so sweet that they wanted to include their dog in the session. I learned that they couldn’t include him in their wedding photos (since the venue did not allow dogs), so it was extra special to include him for the maternity photos :) One of my favorite moments was capturing a family photo of them while Nick was holding Wilbur! Fall photos are underway, and it was such a JOY to work with the R family again! It was so fun to include their dog, Jabba, in the shoot this time, too! We captured their family photos at Pullen Park in Raleigh, and the day was absolutely perfect. As many of you know, the weather in September can be unpredictable. We had heavy rain the previous days, so we lucked out with sunshine!

I loved how their son, R, was so happy and smiley during the whole shoot :) He is one of those kids who would just easily smile and laugh! My favorite part was seeing them all play together with bubbles towards the end of the shoot—it was so sweet to see how much fun they were having! See more of my favorite moments below!

I had SO much fun capturing newborn photos for the E family recently! They welcomed a sweet baby boy this summer, and the whole family was an absolute joy to work with. Their daughter was so sweet and silly, and I thought it was adorable how she wanted to copy mom burping and swaddling the baby :) She also loved saying the words, “bo snack,” and would laugh so hard after saying it! I also loved how they included their dog and parrot into the photo shoot. There were so many delightful moments, and it was truly an honor to be able to capture this special time for them!
