I had the honor of working with the C family again—this time to capture a sweet family reunion with their extended family! :) It was so special meeting everyone and documenting a session that included grandparents and siblings. We met at Umstead Park in Cary, and it turned out to be an unusually warm day for December, with temperatures reaching 70 degrees! Everyone was such a joy to photograph, and the kids were especially happy and full of smiles, making the session feel effortless and fun! I had such a blast working with the G family over Thanksgiving weekend! They were such a cheerful group, and it was so sweet that both sides of the family were able to gather for the holiday. I thought one of the most memorable parts of the shoot was seeing how much the grandparents could get the kiddos to laugh (the youngest grandchild loved being tossed in the air!). It was also sweet to see how much the kids love their uncle, too, and the joy on everyone’s faces just to be together :) See more of my favorite moments below!

I had a lovely time capturing maternity photos for the O family recently at Umstead Park in Raleigh! I remember we got a ton of rain that week (and even earlier that day!), but fortunately things cleared up by the late afternoon. They were such a fun and easy-going couple, and I loved that they brought their THREE dogs to the shoot! We captured a mix of solo shots of Mattie, photos of Mattie and Rabhi, and some adorable family photos with the dogs. I also loved how they whipped out their portable fan to cool off during the shoot—the heat and humidity in North Carolina is definitely no joke! I also learned Mattie’s dress had some cool “ribbons” around the side, which matched her underwater baby shower theme :) Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite photos below!
