I had such a fun time working with the P family again this fall at Pullen Park in Raleigh! Before we began the session, the kids were completely fascinated by the penny press machine near the entrance—something that instantly brought back sweet childhood memories for me, too! We spent the session strolling through the park, and even spotting a few ducks along the way! Their daughter especially loved the fountain and colorful flowers, which I thought was so sweet. I had such a wonderful time working with the J family recently, and we captured their fall photos at Pullen Park! I learned they just moved to the Triangle area this summer, and wanted to capture the beauty of the season and this special moment in their lives. One thing that I loved was their easy-going nature, and seeing how much their son loved being tossed in the air! I also loved how they included their dog, Geema, in the session! His name comes from the Chinese word, “zhī-ma,” which means sesame (they thought he looked kind of like black sesame, hence the name!). Fall photos are underway, and it was such a JOY to work with the R family again! It was so fun to include their dog, Jabba, in the shoot this time, too! We captured their family photos at Pullen Park in Raleigh, and the day was absolutely perfect. As many of you know, the weather in September can be unpredictable. We had heavy rain the previous days, so we lucked out with sunshine!

I loved how their son, R, was so happy and smiley during the whole shoot :) He is one of those kids who would just easily smile and laugh! My favorite part was seeing them all play together with bubbles towards the end of the shoot—it was so sweet to see how much fun they were having! See more of my favorite moments below!
