One of my favorite parts of being a family photographer is capturing photos for returning families! I’ve had the honor of working with the Daniels family for the past few years, and we recently did a beautiful 2-year milestone shoot at Coker Arboretum! It was Hudson’s actual birthday the day of our shoot, and if y’all remember, we did a photoshoot exactly one year ago on his birthday, too! :) We had so much fun running around the park, and it was adorable to see him showing off his truck and exploring nature with his parents. I had the honor of photographing this precious family reunion recently at Lake Gaston! This photoshoot was so meaningful in so many ways. I remember speaking to their oldest daughter, Lindsey, that they haven’t seen their younger sister since Christmas of 2019 since she lives out of state. She also mentioned they haven’t done a family photo for about 10 years, and it was something her father has been wanting to do for a long time. To be able to get the family together and commemorate this special season of life was such a gift! We took some beautiful photos on the dock by the lake, and also capture some gorgeous photos by the swing in the garden. They were absolutely delightful to work with, and I enjoyed capturing all the joyous smiles, laughter, and hugs! See more precious photos below!

I had the wonderful honor of working with the Carvalho family again! They are truly some of the most cheerful and fun people I know, and they recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the family! :) We started with some photos outside on their porch and backyard, then made our way inside for some lifestyle photos around the nursery. One of my favorite moments was capturing them reading a book called, “I’m a Big Brother!” to their son. So far he has been loving being a big brother, and is such an affectionate kid! Most of all, I loved just seeing how happy they were all together! Baby Lilly was also such a chill baby, and I loved it when her brother got excited when she opened her eyes in her crib (see photos below!). Scroll down to see more beautiful newborn photos!
