I absolutely LOVED capturing this gorgeous lifestyle newborn session of Baby Maggie! I think documenting newborn memories in your home is one of the most genuine, natural, and relaxing ways to remember the first few weeks of your baby’s life. It’s so much less stressful than having to go somewhere! One of the most memorable things about this shoot was how much Maggie wanted to eat! They already fed her prior to the session, and it was so precious to see how much she still wanted to eat during the shoot :) I also loved it when Maggie lifted her pinkie when drinking her bottle (see photo halfway down!). I had such a wonderful time photographing the Lawrence family recently! We captured some fun, candid photos at Umstead Park in Raleigh, and the kids loved it :) It was so sweet to photograph the twins interacting with their parents, and the kiddos were SO active and excited during the shoot! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was capturing them blowing bubbles (which is their favorite activity to do!) and documenting them jumping when we were capturing family portraits at the end of the shoot. Spring is one of the most beautiful times of the year to do photos! I had the honor of photographing maternity photos for my friends, Claire and James, and we captured some gorgeous photos at the NCMA in Raleigh. I remember it was forecasted to rain that day, but thankfully it stopped by the time it was our shoot! They were so relaxed during the shoot, and we captured some beautiful photos by the open field.
