I had the honor of capturing newborn photos for the Cooper family, and it was such a sweet session! Baby R is the fourth child in the family, and the older siblings were so wonderful at handling baby sister :) One of the things I loved most about this session was capturing the silliness but also tenderness of the children! I think my favorite moments was when I was photographing dad with baby R, and the kids jumped into the shot and said “cook-a-doodle-doo!” For some reason they loved saying that, and I thought it was so cute! :) See more sweet and tender photos by scrolling down!

Welcome to the world, baby A! I recently had the honor of documenting newborn photos for Courtney and Chip, and we had a wonderful time capturing so many tender moments of baby A! We did part of the shoot outside in the beautiful yard and fig tree, and also took some sweet lifestyle photos inside the home. One of my favorite moments was when Baby A started crying, Chip held her while bouncing on a yoga ball. She loved it and instantly fell back asleep! It was so sweet and funny :) Congrats again, Courtney and Chip!

I had the best time photographing this gorgeous sunset maternity session for my dear friends (and neighbors!), Marlee and Caleb! They are truly some of the sweetest and warmest people we know, and it has been such a huge blessing to us to have them in our lives!

We captured maternity photos last month during the beautiful golden hour, and the light was unbelievable! The warm, soft glow of the sun is just so stunning. Also, did you know we captured these photos in our neighborhood? It was beautiful! No matter the location, I’m here to tell you that it’s truly about the LIGHT, composition, and moment that really makes a great photo. If you worry that your home or neighborhood isn’t photo-worthy, leave the work to me—it’s my job as a photographer to figure out the best angles and poses to photograph you! :)
