A Gorgeous Winter Maternity Session | Raleigh Maternity Photographer

I had the wonderful honor of capturing maternity photos for Sydney and Nick a few weeks ago! It was such a gorgeous winter maternity session, and the joy and excitement for Baby K was so evident! :) I remember they wanted to have an open field look, and the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh was the perfect location! The NCMA has so many pretty backdrops and fields, and it’s spacious enough to be socially distant with other visitors in the park!

One of my favorite spots in the park is the area by the giant rings (as seen in the first photo!). I absolutely LOVE the way you can creatively frame your subjects, and also love the vibrant orange color against the blue sky. We also captured a lot of photos by the open fields, and the deep connection between Sydney and Nick was incredible! It truly is humbling to be part of documenting such a special season of life, and I can’t wait to meet Baby K! See more of my favorite photos below and stay tuned for their newborn session!

A Special Note on Safety and COVID-19:

To help ensure a safe shoot for clients, I wear a surgical face mask for all sessions and do my best to maintain proper social distance. If you are considering a maternity and/or newborn session, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to contact me and I can provide you with more details about how I’m handling safety during COVID-19.
