I had SO much fun working with the Carvalho family again last month at their alma mater, Duke! We did a morning session and the weather was sunny and beautiful. They are truly one of the happiest and most cheerful families I know, and have AMAZING smiles :) It has been about a year since I’ve seen them, and it truly is crazy how much kids grow! The kids were adorable and incredibly silly, and I especially loved how much their son would love to jump and be tossed in the air (and he calls it doing the “rocket!”). I had the incredible honor of working with the Geary family again, and we had a fun time capturing family photos at the NCMA! During the shoot, older sister A found a ladybug and was SO engrossed and fascinated by it, that I had to capture the moment! I also loved how she posed with her jellybeans, which was one of my favorite photos from their shoot :) Most of all, I LOVED the golden hour photos we captured of the whole family sitting on the grass and laughing! I had the honor of working with the Greiner family again, and we had SO much fun capturing their family photos! The weather was absolutely pleasant that day—we’ve been having fluctuating temperatures that week, so we lucked out on the beautiful weather! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing how sweet their kids would interact with one another. Their son was so kind to his sister, and their daughter was incredibly silly and sweet! I also love the little soccer ball they brought; it had a polar bear face and was simply adorable! Most of all, I loved capturing their interactions with one another. The walking shots were AMAZING with the warm sunny glow and beautifully highlighted their love as a family. Enjoy seeing some of my favorite moments below!
