I had SO much fun working with the Carvalho family again last month at their alma mater, Duke! We did a morning session and the weather was sunny and beautiful. They are truly one of the happiest and most cheerful families I know, and have AMAZING smiles :) It has been about a year since I’ve seen them, and it truly is crazy how much kids grow! The kids were adorable and incredibly silly, and I especially loved how much their son would love to jump and be tossed in the air (and he calls it doing the “rocket!”). The Jocius family was such a joy to photograph! I had the honor of working with them this fall and they were so relaxed, charming, and FUN to photograph! We captured photos at Duke University around the beautiful Duke Chapel and pathways surrounding the area. The fall colors were absolutely GORGEOUS and the weather was surprisingly very pleasant that day—it wasn’t too hot or cold! One of the most memorable things from this shoot was capturing how close they were as a family. I loved the way they would joke around each other and how comfortable they were in front of the camera!
