Sunset Session at Joyner Park | Raleigh Family Photographer

I had a WONDERFUL time photographing the Huntley family again! We took photos at the scenic Joyner Park in Wake Forest, and the park was absolutely beautiful. It was such a joy catching up with them and capturing how big their kids have grown! There were seriously so many sweet and funny moments from the shoot. I loved it when their oldest son picked some flowers for his mom; he truly has such a big and tender heart! :) I also loved capturing their interactions with their youngest member of the family. I remember they were calling his name to come to them, and he ran so fast into his dad’s arms! It was the cutest thing ever! The best part of the shoot was truly seeing how joyful they were even in the middle of this pandemic. Having each other and the love of family is such a gift and blessing! Enjoy going through some of my favorite highlights below!

A Special Note on Safety and COVID-19:

To help ensure a safe shoot for clients, I wear a mask during the session and do my best to maintain proper social distance. If you are considering a family photography shoot, I’d love to hear from you! Feel free to contact me and I can provide you with more details about how I’m handling safety during COVID-19.

The Janson Siblings | Raleigh Family Photographer

Siblings are truly one of the greatest gifts in life—there’s no other person who really knows you like your brother or sister! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Janson siblings. The youngest, Makayla, got in touch with me and I learned they wanted to gift their parents with a photo of all of them. Getting all four of the siblings together was so precious because they live in different cities, and as we all know the older you get, the harder it is to coordinate dates/times with people!

The day of our shoot was a bit chilly, but I was SO glad the sun was shining! We had a morning shoot at the NC Museum of Art, and we had so much fun taking photos together. They had AMAZING energy during our session and were full of joy and smiles. They were also so genuine and silly with their interactions with each other! I also learned the two oldest, Elise and Kyle, are TWINS (see first photo below: the twins are the two siblings who are standing in the middle!). I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter group of people to work with, and I hope you enjoy scrolling through my favorites!

Sibling Portrait Session at Pullen Park | Raleigh Family Photographer

When it's 70 degrees in February in Raleigh, North Carolina, you definitely want to be outside! I had a blast taking photos of these awesome kiddos at Pullen Park in Raleigh. Jude and Shepherd were so cheerful, and not shy at all in front of the camera! We had so much fun taking these sweet sibling photos by the bridge, and also found a great spot by the water for some individual portraits.

Their parents, Roxy and Tim, are founders of Oak City Soccer, which is a wonderful organization that provides a safe and enriching environment for children with autism or other spectrum and sensory challenges to learn soccer. Learn more about what they do here!
