I had such a wonderful time working with Clarissa and Brandon again, and this time it was for their beautiful wedding in Charlotte, NC! They are truly a cheerful and easy-going couple, and I can’t tell you how many times they made me chuckle! :) One of my favorite parts of the wedding was capturing the bride and groom portraits, and I had so much fun documenting their silliness as well as their love for one another. Their big, fluffy, and sweet dog, Lucy, was also part of the wedding and she did the CUTEST head tilt when posing for the camera! They also had an epic dance party and I was especially blown away by the amazingly-choreographed mother-son dance! Most of all, the joy and love in the room were so evident. Congrats again, Clarissa and Brandon, and may you create many more beautiful memories together!

Capturing newborn photos of Baby L was truly a joy! It was especially meaningful and special to capture this season of life for my dear friends, Makayla and Conner, and watching them transition to parenthood. One of the things that stood out to me from the session was that their sweet baby boy had the most beautiful blue eyes and strawberry-blonde hair! I also loved capturing the in-between shots of them smiling and rocking Baby L to sleep with the baby shusher :) I’m all about documenting real life, and it was such an authentic moment! I had the honor of working with this family at the end of August, and we had a BLAST doing photos at the NCMA! The kiddos were seriously some of the happiest kids I’ve met, and there was a ton of laughter and exploring during our shoot! I remember Erin telling me she wanted to capture this season of life when the kids are still young so they have some memories they can hold onto when they get older. I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet because these moments are truly fleeting! During the shoot, it was endearing to see how much the children LOVED finding bugs and how excited they were when they heard a train. Towards the last half of the shoot, they enjoyed some POPSICLES and MACARONS! It was such a wonderful treat to enjoy (especially in the summer!) and they were all so happy :) Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite moments below!
