I had the honor of working with this family at the end of August, and we had a BLAST doing photos at the NCMA! The kiddos were seriously some of the happiest kids I’ve met, and there was a ton of laughter and exploring during our shoot! I remember Erin telling me she wanted to capture this season of life when the kids are still young so they have some memories they can hold onto when they get older. I thought that was so thoughtful and sweet because these moments are truly fleeting! During the shoot, it was endearing to see how much the children LOVED finding bugs and how excited they were when they heard a train. Towards the last half of the shoot, they enjoyed some POPSICLES and MACARONS! It was such a wonderful treat to enjoy (especially in the summer!) and they were all so happy :) Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite moments below!

I had the privilege of working with the D family again, and it was for a special celebration! Their three boys have birthdays in the summer within a few weeks of each other, and it was the perfect time for them to host a family reunion. The extended family has not been together since pre-covid times, so this was extra special! My favorite moment from this event was when it was time for CAKE :) The kids were SO excited and literally couldn’t keep their eyes off of the amazing Encanto-themed cake! I had SO much fun capturing Baby C’s one-year milestone recently at Forest Hills Park in Durham! It has truly been a joy working with this family throughout this past year, and I had the honor of capturing his newborn and six-month milestone sessions, too. Baby C has seriously one of the SWEETEST smiles and it was so fun capturing him exploring the grassy fields, reading together with his parents, and being tossed in the air! One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was seeing how happy and excited he would get when we would clap our hands—it was SO cute. I also loved it when he was reading a book with his parents, and he kissed the book! I couldn’t stop laughing :) See more adorable and precious moments from this wonderful milestone session below!
