I can’t express how much FUN I had working with this energetic and cheerful family! It was extra special because they will be moving to DC soon, and they wanted to remember their wonderful time in Durham. I remember learning that they also moved around a lot, and have not had a chance to capture many moments they’ve experienced as a family. For this session, they wanted to document this special moment in time with Kelli (mom) who just graduated with an MBA from the Duke Fuqua School of Business, and their ADORABLE twin boys who will be starting kindergarten soon. The shoot itself was MAGIC and the kids were incredibly silly and happy, and I loved capturing their personalities! One of my favorite moments was when they were eating cupcakes that they brought, and seeing how happy it made them :) We also ended the shoot by the ATC entrance, and the image was priceless! I will surely miss this wonderful family, and wish them the very best! See more AMAZING photos below!

I had such a fantastic time working with this sweet family again and capturing Baby A’s one-year milestone!! We captured their photos in the morning at Forest Hills Park in Durham, and it was such a beautiful and sunny day. Baby A was seriously the sweetest and happiest baby! One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was capturing her roar like a lion—it was SO cute, funny, and endearing! We also had a great time exploring the fields (she loved to pick up sticks and flowers!) and capturing her walk and run. This stage of life is amazing in so many ways because your baby changes SO much within a few weeks. Enjoy scrolling down and seeing more cute smiles and sweet family photos!

I had SO much fun working with the Carvalho family again last month at their alma mater, Duke! We did a morning session and the weather was sunny and beautiful. They are truly one of the happiest and most cheerful families I know, and have AMAZING smiles :) It has been about a year since I’ve seen them, and it truly is crazy how much kids grow! The kids were adorable and incredibly silly, and I especially loved how much their son would love to jump and be tossed in the air (and he calls it doing the “rocket!”).
