I had the honor of working with the Boros family again, and we captured some beautiful outdoor photos with extended family this year! We went to Umstead Park and it was such a wonderful place for all the kids to run and explore nature, and there truly was never a dull moment during the shoot :) The shoot started off with one of the kiddos missing his shoe (which we quickly found nearby!), and I often tell people that it’s the in-between moments like this that I believe are worth capturing! Besides these silly moments, we also captured some beautiful family portraits of the whole family, cousins, and more in the forest as well as the gorgeous lake. I had the honor of working with Mary, Jordan, and Baby H a few weeks ago to capture Baby H’s six-month milestone! Baby H was such a happy and smiley baby, and the day of our shoot was absolutely gorgeous (the golden hour light was absolute perfection!). One of my favorite things about this shoot was how much he would laugh when we lifted him in the air—the joy on his face was priceless! I also learned that he loves being told how stinky he is, and he gets such a big kick out of it! It was a huge JOY and honor to capture family photos for my dear friends, Kevin and Andrea, a few weeks ago! I had such a blast working with their whole family and their kiddos are the cutest! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was simply capturing the joy of the girls at this young age. It was so fun interacting and chatting with their oldest daughter, and their youngest was also the smiliest baby I’ve ever photographed! If you smile at her, she would smile right back!!
