Candid photos are truly some of my favorite images to capture! I had the honor of capturing photos with the Varnado family recently, and they were SO fun to work with! They recently moved to Durham and wanted to capture this move and transition in their lives, so it made sense to document their photos at the American Tobacco Campus! It’s one of the most iconic and popular locations that truly captures the essence of Durham. We had SO much fun laughing, clapping our hands, swinging, and playing with BUBBLES! It’s never too late to get graduation photos! I had the wonderful honor of capturing graduation photos for Benjamin a few weeks ago at the American Tobacco Campus. He was graduating from 5th grade and going into 6th grade… which means middle school! :) Benjamin and his family were so relaxed during the shoot, and they all truly had some amazing smiles! I also learned he wants to be an actor someday (which I thought was SO cool) and I thought it would be fun to do some photos by the DPAC. It truly was a special moment and photograph to capture! :) Congrats again and best wishes on your future endeavors, Benjamin!

I had the honor of capturing some BEAUTIFUL lifestyle photos for this sweet family in Durham a few weeks ago! I remember Anne telling me that they wanted to remember this special time because their baby girl just turned ONE! :) Baby M was one of the friendliest babies I’ve met; she loved to wave her hand to say “hi!” and would literally just walk right up to you. Another memorable part of the shoot was seeing how much she loved her stuffed octopus! We captured some adorable photos with her sitting with her beloved octopus and wearing her cute birthday crown. My favorite part is honestly just capturing their family reading, playing, and simply being together :) It’s these everyday moments that truly make life meaningful and special!
