Baby B celebrated her first birthday recently, and we had such a blast capturing this precious milestone at the UNC Coker Arboretum in Chapel Hill! She was ALL smiles and showed so much curiosity and energy. My favorite moment was capturing her cake smash! She was SO eager to dig into the cake even before her dad put the cake down! :) She showed no hesitation to eat cake, and thoroughly enjoyed it! See more of my favorite highlights below!

This kiddo was just the CUTEST! What a joy it was to celebrate Caleb's first birthday in March! He was such a happy baby and seriously had great eye contact with the camera during the whole session. One of my favorite moments was photographing him walking and wobbling, and I loved seeing how happy he was when he got to walk! Jenny and Haji were also incredibly funny and silly with Caleb, and we had a great time playing peek-a-boo! Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite highlights!

Baby girl Z turned ONE a couple of weeks ago, and it was such a wonderful occasion! She was born right when the pandemic started last year (and has mostly known a world of masks and social distancing!), but that didn’t stop this family from celebrating this special milestone! One of the best parts of photographing this birthday was capturing her reaction to CAKE. I’ve found most babies either love it or have no interest in it. As you can see from the photos below, she did not seem too pleased with the texture! This sweet family proceeded to sing “Baby Shark” to cheer her up and it did the trick! It put a smile back on her face and it was so precious :) Enjoy the wonderful highlights from this ONE-derful birthday celebration!
