I had such a wonderful time capturing maternity photos for the G family again, and I was so excited to learn they are expecting their third baby girl! :) We photographed their maternity session at the beautiful Historic Yates Mill Pond Park, one of my favorite outdoor locations in the Raleigh area. We enjoyed walking around the park together, including a stroll along the bridge—where we even spotted a turtle! Most of all, I LOVED seeing how excited the girls were to welcome another sister :) It’s so clear that this baby is already incredibly loved! I had the joy of working with the M family again this fall! I was SO touched that they traveled from Charlotte to Raleigh for their lifestyle family session with me at the NC Museum of Art. We truly had the BEST time exploring the grounds together and capturing fun, meaningful moments along the way!

We started by the museum at the Reflection Pond and the Mirror Labyrinth, then wandered through the open fields and stopped by the cool musical swings. I also loved documenting the little in-between moments, like enjoying a sweet marshmallow treat and capturing their daughter’s love for bugs! She has the most AMAZING eye for spotting insects and has such a gentle way of handling them.

I had such a fun time working with the P family again this fall at Pullen Park in Raleigh! Before we began the session, the kids were completely fascinated by the penny press machine near the entrance—something that instantly brought back sweet childhood memories for me, too! We spent the session strolling through the park, and even spotting a few ducks along the way! Their daughter especially loved the fountain and colorful flowers, which I thought was so sweet.
