It was a joy to work with the M family this spring! We had so much fun capturing their family photos at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh. The weather was sunny and pleasant, and the sunset was absolute perfection! The kids were so delightful to work with, and were full of smiles and energy :) I loved how interactive they were during the session, and providing their own ideas for poses for some of the shots! We also had time to do a quick outfit change, and captured some beautiful photos in the field. Their daughter, who is an avid soccer player, also had a chance to show some of her talent and skills at the end of the shoot—she was truly amazing! I had the honor of photographing the sweet P family recently, and we were lucky to capture their maternity session just before February’s snowfall! We captured their photos at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham—a location that holds special meaning for them, as it’s where they had their first date :) They were so natural and genuine in front of the camera, and I truly had so much fun capturing their love, joy, and laughter. It was such a joy to work with this sweet family again! We had a wonderful time capturing both family and maternity photos before their second baby arrives. We did the session at Bond Park and were lucky to fit the session in between the two snowstorms in Raleigh! Their son was so funny and full of energy throughout the session—he was also so excited to be a big brother! :) One of my favorite moments was by the docks, where the sun was setting beautifully over the lake.
