It was such a joy to work with the R family again as they welcome their second child! :) Their sweet baby girl was absolutely precious, and slept for most of the shoot. One of my favorite parts of the session was when their toddler son held her in his lap! He did an AMAZING job, and I couldn’t believe how long he held her! We captured some adorable moments of him looking at his baby sister and giving her a gentle kiss on the head :) Towards the end of the session, we captured some fun candid moments of them reading The Pout-Pout Fish, and also playing with their son (by lifting him really high in the air!). I had the BEST time capturing maternity photos for this sweet and fun couple! E and S love the outdoors and wanted to take photos in a natural scenery, and Umstead Park was the perfect location. We laughed SO much during the shoot, and I loved how natural and down-to-earth they were in front of the camera! I remember E told me they wanted to capture some of their goofiness together, and I truly enjoyed seeing how they could make each other laugh :) I also loved how they incorporated their personalities into the shoot with their Chacos sandals, Adidas sneakers, and outfit changes! There were seriously SO many amazing moments, and I included some of my favorites below. Can’t wait for their sweet baby to arrive!

I had the honor of working with the H family recently as they recently welcomed their first child into the world! Baby S was absolutely precious, and we started off the shoot with capturing some solo shots of her. We then documented beautiful lifestyle family photos around their bedroom, and the lighting was gorgeous! Baby S made the cutest little expressions, and slept like a champ :) We ended the session with some relaxing photos in the living room, and their sweet cat and dog joined in on the fun!
