What a joy it was to work with the A family again! They are such a sweet and easy-going family, and I was thrilled to capture their family photos at Duke Chapel this year. During the session, we captured some fun photos of their son playing with an orange ball—he LOVED playing with it! He also loved “putting it away” or tucking it into the bushes. It was so silly and precious to watch! My favorite moment was when we were checking out the flowers by the chapel. He gave me the sweetest smile, and I loved how he shared his flowers with his mommy and daddy! A plane also flew above us during the shoot, and the candid moment of his hands pointing in the air was SO cute :) See more precious photos from this sweet family session below!

I had a lot of fun working with the T family this fall, and we captured their family photos at the iconic Duke Chapel! It was a lovely day, and I truly enjoyed capturing their enthusiasm and joy of being together as a family. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was when their son did a backflip while they were walking! It was so funny and unexpected! I had such a wonderful time working with Clarissa and Brandon again, and this time it was for their beautiful wedding in Charlotte, NC! They are truly a cheerful and easy-going couple, and I can’t tell you how many times they made me chuckle! :) One of my favorite parts of the wedding was capturing the bride and groom portraits, and I had so much fun documenting their silliness as well as their love for one another. Their big, fluffy, and sweet dog, Lucy, was also part of the wedding and she did the CUTEST head tilt when posing for the camera! They also had an epic dance party and I was especially blown away by the amazingly-choreographed mother-son dance! Most of all, the joy and love in the room were so evident. Congrats again, Clarissa and Brandon, and may you create many more beautiful memories together!
