What a joyous day! I had the honor of photographing a sweet and intimate wedding for Lisa and Harold at Drake’s Landing in Fuquay-Varina. It was such a beautiful and sunny day, and I loved the relaxing and romantic atmosphere! I especially loved the signage that described their love:

“When two old souls fall in love, they make each other feel like home.

Together, they become the remedy for each other’s brokenness and heal past wounds.

Even their silence of togetherness sings a beautiful melody only known to them.

Their lives are forever changed.

To bring happiness to each other and a promise of a new beginning.”

After the ceremony, I captured portraits of them in a GORGEOUS little field. I usually give couples a lot of prompts and guidance when I’m photographing, but they were SO natural and comfortable in front of the camera that I barely had to give any direction! Their chemistry and connection with each other were beautiful, and I absolutely LOVED how they could easily make each other laugh and smile :) See more amazing photos from this sweet wedding below! I had the honor of working with the Yao family again and capturing their daughter’s one-year milestone! Baby A was so adorable and smiley during the session, and seriously the fastest baby I’ve met! :) One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing her walk with SO much confidence and steadiness, and seeing her giggle when being tossed in the air.
