I had so much fun capturing Baby E’s one-year milestone! I absolutely LOVED how much she would giggle and smile throughout the shoot, and seeing her learning to stand and walk was so adorable! One of my favorite moments from this shoot was seeing her play in her little red airplane (she had a cute knitted helmet too!). The JOY on her face was priceless and documenting her laughter was so sweet!

It was truly an honor to capture Baby E’s first year and see her growth at each milestone. There is an incredible amount of changes and development that happen within a baby’s first year, and being able to document these memories are worth everything. It was an honor to capture newborn photos for Allison and Brent a few weeks ago! They welcomed Baby C to the family in December, and he was such a joy to photograph! The light in their living room was absolutely beautiful, and we did the majority of the shots in that room. One of my favorite moments from the shoot was seeing Baby C do a little smile for the camera! I also loved the sheep blanket that one of the relatives crocheted for Baby C. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Laura and Brian again and capturing some gorgeous maternity photos for them! As most of you know, the weather in NC is very unpredictable and the forecast kept showing that it would be cold and rainy the day of our shoot. Well, the weather ended up being sunny, warm, and windy for our January shoot!

With the gorgeous golden hour light, we captured a lot of fun and beautiful moments during the shoot. There were times when the wind would blow Laura’s hat off, but those made some fun candid shots! I also LOVED the photos we captured in the open field and by the three rings. Laura also brought some adorable wooden blocks of her daughter’s name (Baby River!) as well as some cute suede booties!
