It was truly a JOY and honor to capture this newborn session for Sydney and Nick last month! You may remember them from their gorgeous winter maternity session, and they totally rocked it again with their newborn shoot! The true star of the show was Baby Theo :) He was so chill during the shoot and so incredibly cute—even when he’s sleeping or eating! In addition, their spunky and energetic 50-pound goldendoodle was such a ham! Yes, he was named after the Star Wars character, Kylo Ren :) My favorite part of this shoot was honestly just documenting all of them together, and capturing the deep love they have for one another! I had such a sweet time photographing newborn photos for the Vanderslice family! There were so many tender moments, and I think what I loved most about this shoot was seeing the expression on the parents’ faces. The joy of having a child was so evident, and they were so relaxed in front of the camera! I also LOVED their Winnie the Pooh themed nursery!! I had such a great time capturing maternity photos for Lauren and Noah a few weeks ago at the NCMA! I remember when we first spoke during our consultation, they wanted to capture a story that highlighted them as a family in this season of life. We focused on a lot of candid and relaxed shots of both of them, and I absolutely loved how easy they laughed with one another! :) During this session we also had an outfit change; we did one outfit that was a bit more casual and another that was a little more dressy. Lauren looked absolutely stunning in both outfits! Congrats again, Lauren and Noah, on your growing family!
