Candid photos are truly some of my favorite images to capture! I had the honor of capturing photos with the Varnado family recently, and they were SO fun to work with! They recently moved to Durham and wanted to capture this move and transition in their lives, so it made sense to document their photos at the American Tobacco Campus! It’s one of the most iconic and popular locations that truly captures the essence of Durham. We had SO much fun laughing, clapping our hands, swinging, and playing with BUBBLES! Newborn shoots at home are truly one of my favorite things to capture! I had the honor of working with Meiji and Frank again, and meeting their sweet baby boy, Asher. We had a wonderful time capturing some beautiful photos in the nursery, and portraits of them cuddling their adorable baby! Asher slept through most of the shoot, and it was so precious to see how relaxed and calm he was during our session. My favorite part of this session was seeing the joy on Meiji and Frank’s faces as they held their son :) See more of my favorite moments below!

It’s never too late to get graduation photos! I had the wonderful honor of capturing graduation photos for Benjamin a few weeks ago at the American Tobacco Campus. He was graduating from 5th grade and going into 6th grade… which means middle school! :) Benjamin and his family were so relaxed during the shoot, and they all truly had some amazing smiles! I also learned he wants to be an actor someday (which I thought was SO cool) and I thought it would be fun to do some photos by the DPAC. It truly was a special moment and photograph to capture! :) Congrats again and best wishes on your future endeavors, Benjamin!
