I had the honor of capturing some BEAUTIFUL lifestyle photos for this sweet family in Durham a few weeks ago! I remember Anne telling me that they wanted to remember this special time because their baby girl just turned ONE! :) Baby M was one of the friendliest babies I’ve met; she loved to wave her hand to say “hi!” and would literally just walk right up to you. Another memorable part of the shoot was seeing how much she loved her stuffed octopus! We captured some adorable photos with her sitting with her beloved octopus and wearing her cute birthday crown. My favorite part is honestly just capturing their family reading, playing, and simply being together :) It’s these everyday moments that truly make life meaningful and special! It was such a joy capturing newborn photos of Baby Blair a few weeks ago! I honestly never get tired of documenting newborn photos at home—it’s truly the most meaningful and beautiful place to be as a growing family! We started off the shoot by capturing some candid photos in the living room. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was including their mini golden-doodle, Stanley, in the photos! He was a bit timid and shy at first, but once he warmed up to me, he LOVED the camera (as you can see in the photos below!). Another memorable part of the shoot was when we were nearing the end of the shoot, Blair started crying and started pooping into her parents’ hands! Stephen said, “I can feel it coming out!” Fortunately she was wearing a diaper, and the expression on Caryn and Stephen’s face was PRICELESS. I had a delightful time photographing the Garrison family a few weeks ago at North Cary Park! There were so many wonderful moments with this family, and they truly had some of the sweetest smiles! I also loved capturing the bond between the two sisters, and seeing how kind they were towards each other! The oldest daughter also LOVED flowers, and it was so precious capturing the joy on her face when she was picking flowers! :) See some of my favorite highlights below from this beautiful summer session!
