I had such an INCREDIBLE time photographing Laura, Brian, and their pup (Bodhi) a few weeks ago! It was an extra special shoot because they are expecting a BABY GIRL and we captured some beautiful baby announcement and family photos at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham! There seriously were so many amazing moments, and I still can’t get over how cute the pink adore-a-bull onsie was! Their energetic and cheerful pup, Bodhi, was also SO photogenic in front of the camera. They recently moved to Durham and wanted to capture this move and transition in their lives, so it made sense to document their photos at the American Tobacco Campus! It’s one of the most iconic and popular locations that truly captures the essence of Durham. We had SO much fun laughing, clapping our hands, swinging, and playing with BUBBLES! Newborn shoots at home are truly one of my favorite things to capture! I had the honor of working with Meiji and Frank again, and meeting their sweet baby boy, Asher. We had a wonderful time capturing some beautiful photos in the nursery, and portraits of them cuddling their adorable baby! Asher slept through most of the shoot, and it was so precious to see how relaxed and calm he was during our session. My favorite part of this session was seeing the joy on Meiji and Frank’s faces as they held their son :) See more of my favorite moments below!
