I had the honor of photographing this precious newborn session as this family welcomed baby #2! One of the unique things about this shoot was that we photographed this session at their rental home (they were undergoing renovations at their actual home!). Even though it wasn’t their “real” home, I often say it’s the people in the photos that make your images meaningful and truly what makes your family :) We still had a wonderful time together, and I loved how playful their older daughter was during the shoot! I also loved how alert Baby C was, and he LOVED looking outside and at the light—it was hilarious and adorable at the same time. It was such a joy and honor to capture newborn photos for this beautiful family in Chapel Hill! I especially loved Baby G’s cute onsie that said, “Sweet Little Blessing” because he surely was! :) During the session, we captured photos in the master bedroom and nursery and did a lot of snuggles and kisses. I absolutely enjoyed capturing everyone’s joy, and the simplicity and beauty of the moment! I had the incredible honor of working with the Geary family again, and we had a fun time capturing family photos at the NCMA! During the shoot, older sister A found a ladybug and was SO engrossed and fascinated by it, that I had to capture the moment! I also loved how she posed with her jellybeans, which was one of my favorite photos from their shoot :) Most of all, I LOVED the golden hour photos we captured of the whole family sitting on the grass and laughing!
