What a JOY it was to capture these newborn photos for my sweet neighbors, Marlee and Caleb! :) Baby Levi was so cute and had amazing SILVER-BLONDE hair! We started off the shoot relaxing in the living room, and the light was absolutely perfect. We then captured photos in the master bedroom (isn’t the teal-colored wall beautiful?) and it was so adorable to see him cuddling in his parents’ arms. We also captured a photo of him with his personalized blanket, which I thought was so unique and meaningful! See more photos from this beautiful newborn session below! :)

I had the honor of capturing photos for the Moriarty family in the fall, and it was truly a JOY documenting their growing family! They were such a down-to-earth family, and we had a relaxing time playing, eating, and laughing! This session was geared more towards a lifestyle, photojournalism approach. Images were mostly unposed and candid, and my goal was to document real, genuine moments. Personally, I find the lifestyle/documentary approach to be very enjoyable especially if you have children ages 0-3 years old. Kids are wiggly and move a LOT, and these type of shoots tend to be way more fun for them! All you have to do is relax, do an activity you love together (like playing or eating!), and just have FUN! This family photo shoot was SO fun, and this was my first time photographing IDENTICAL TWINS!! This mama described her two twin boys as “two very chatty and energetic boys who can behave like jumping beans at times. They live to talk about their toys, snakes, dinosaurs and bugs.” Let me just say her description was spot on! If you scroll down, you’ll see some photos of them holding up their dinosaur and snake toys (and how much they love them!).

In addition to the twins, this family also has a beautiful and SWEET baby girl! Seriously, Baby Z was probably the most easy going and pleasant baby I’ve ever met. Most of all, my favorite part of this shoot was seeing how much this family loved to laugh! :) Capturing their joy and love was truly beautiful. See more amazing photos below!
