I had SO much fun capturing Baby C’s one-year milestone recently at Forest Hills Park in Durham! It has truly been a joy working with this family throughout this past year, and I had the honor of capturing his newborn and six-month milestone sessions, too. Baby C has seriously one of the SWEETEST smiles and it was so fun capturing him exploring the grassy fields, reading together with his parents, and being tossed in the air! One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was seeing how happy and excited he would get when we would clap our hands—it was SO cute. I also loved it when he was reading a book with his parents, and he kissed the book! I couldn’t stop laughing :) See more adorable and precious moments from this wonderful milestone session below! I had the honor of working with the Yao family again and capturing their daughter’s one-year milestone! Baby A was so adorable and smiley during the session, and seriously the fastest baby I’ve met! :) One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing her walk with SO much confidence and steadiness, and seeing her giggle when being tossed in the air. Family sessions at home are truly one of my favorites! I had the honor of working with Melody and her family again. The last time I saw them was about 2-3 years ago when I did their newborn session with Baby E! So crazy how fast time flies! For this session, we captured a lot of candid, lifestyle family photos at their beautiful home in Durham. They have one of the most luscious and hearty gardens I’ve seen, and we were able to water the plants and eat some fresh peas and basil during the session! I also loved that their sweet toddler E showed me her AMAZING hobbit home in the backyard—it totally looked like the real thing! :) I think my favorite part of the shoot was simply capturing their joy of being together as a family, and doing the things they love with one another at home.
