I had such a great time capturing these fun memories for the Driskill family again! One of the most memorable parts of the shoot was how much their oldest son LOVED being in front of the camera! He was truly an entertainer and comedian, too. From rolling in a pile of leaves, to climbing trees, to posing in front of the camera, his energy and enthusiasm was so fun to capture! I also just loved documenting the whole family having fun together. My favorite moment was when they all threw the colorful fall leaves in the air, and their smiles were priceless! I had the honor of capturing photos for the Moriarty family in the fall, and it was truly a JOY documenting their growing family! They were such a down-to-earth family, and we had a relaxing time playing, eating, and laughing! This session was geared more towards a lifestyle, photojournalism approach. Images were mostly unposed and candid, and my goal was to document real, genuine moments. Personally, I find the lifestyle/documentary approach to be very enjoyable especially if you have children ages 0-3 years old. Kids are wiggly and move a LOT, and these type of shoots tend to be way more fun for them! All you have to do is relax, do an activity you love together (like playing or eating!), and just have FUN! When kids and parents are having fun during the shoot, it truly makes a huge difference in photos! Smiles are more natural and genuine, and not forced or cheesy. I had the honor of capturing family photos for the Boros family again this fall, and it was SO fun working with them! We focused on capturing a lot of candid moments during this session, and the boys were absolutely hilarious! The youngest was showing his skills of walking backwards, and the boys had a blast exploring the forest environment and picking up worms, crickets, and slugs :) Another wonderful silly moment was seeing how the boys wanted to see if they could pick up their parents, and thought it was the funniest thing ever!
