Welcoming Baby Sophia | Raleigh Newborn Photographer

I had the honor of photographing a newborn session for this lovely family in February, and I’m SO thankful that we got to do this before COVID-19 hit NC! I met Bill and Christine at a Triangle Area Parenting Support event in the fall, and I was so excited when they contacted me to do a newborn session. They welcomed a baby girl, Sophia, and she was absolutely precious!

We captured photos in the master bedroom first, and I absolutely loved the portraits where Bill and Christine were standing next to the window. The joy on Bill and Christine’s faces were so sweet and loving as they were holding Sophia! I love seeing how they cradled their baby girl in their arms :) We also captured photos in the nursery, and I LOVED the elephant theme! Lastly, we ended the shoot in the living room and they wanted to capture a family photo with their dogs. The dogs were SO happy to be included in the photos, and kept wagging their tails when we were capturing the memories!

See below for more highlights from this beautiful lifestyle newborn session at home! Also, if you or someone you know is expecting during COVID-19, here are a few helpful resources to check out: Triangle Area Parenting Support and a blog I wrote called, 10 Tips for Photographing Your Own Newborn During COVID-19.

Hope y’all continue to stay safe and healthy with your loved ones!
