A Precious Family Session Before Moving | Durham Family Photographer
Every season is worth capturing, even if you are moving! As stressful as moving can be, there’s nothing more precious than documenting your family photos at your home. One of my clients got in touch with me about doing a family session at their house before they moved, and I was honored to do so (and of course, I was also sad because I will miss them dearly!).
During the session, I suggested we take photos in the rooms where they spent the most time as a family. We started off in the upstairs playroom, and had a TON of fun playing and running around :) We also took some pictures in their family room. I LOVED the map they had of all the places they’ve lived and visited, and I especially loved the quote on it:
“The best things in life are the people we love, the places we’ve been, and the memories we’ve made along the way.”
We also captured photos of each child and their room, and I loved each of their unique decor and style! We also took photos outsides on the swings and in front of the house. We then wrapped up the shoot with some delicious snacks, and also played with bubbles on the back porch! We did a TON of activities and it was so worth it :) See more sweet, silly, and fun moments below!
