I had such a fun time capturing maternity photos for Amy and Sam! It truly was a pleasure working with them and I can’t believe how much we laughed together during their shoot :) They were so natural and relaxed in front of the camera, and seriously breezed through all the poses I gave them! I learned that Sam is a big Chicago Cubs fan, and they brought the CUTEST Cubs onsies to include in their maternity session. I also loved the photos we took by the beautiful brick wall and window! Sam was originally leaning against the wall and I loved how relaxed he looked, so I had Amy do the same pose. The result was AWESOME! I had the joy and honor of photographing newborn photos of Baby M a few weeks ago! Jennifer and Nathan were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the whole family was absolutely delightful to work with! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was including their sweet dog and cat in the photos, and capturing them all on the couch as a family. It was so special and adorable, and I loved how Baby M slept through it! I also adored the photos we captured in the nursery and loved the tenderness between mom and baby as well as dad and baby. I had the honor of photographing Michael and Delaney’s wedding a few weeks ago, and it was such a sweet and intimate ceremony! They rented out an Airbnb and had family come in the day before to relax and hang out. They also organized the ceremony in the backyard (which was such an awesome idea!), and I loved how relaxing everything was! I remember the weather was chilly and cloudy that day, but it helped create some nice, soft lighting for the ceremony and portraits. I also loved how they were ready with some cozy blankets and quilts for the guests! One of the things I enjoyed most about working with Michael and Delaney was how easy-going and down-to-earth they were. The portraits we took after the wedding was so fun and I loved capturing their joy, silliness, and connection with one another!
