I had the honor of working with the Carroll family and capturing these precious newborn photos of their baby boy! They were so pleasant to work with and incredibly natural in front of the camera. One of the memorable parts of this shoot was capturing Baby B’s vibrant red hair (see below!) and their amazing safari nursery! I learned they love to travel and decided a safari theme would be fun to do for the nursery. I also LOVED the mustache pacifier they had for Baby B, and it totally matched dad’s cool mustache! :) See more fun and adorable highlights below from this beautiful newborn shoot!

Home is truly where the heart is! I had the honor of working with Lindsey and Alan, and one of the things she mentioned to me during our consultation was wanting to do a lifestyle maternity session at home. They love spending time at home and were hoping to capture some quiet, intimate, and joyful moments of their family together since Alan travels for work (he’s a pilot for the Navy!). It was truly a joy to work with them and I loved how their cats also made an appearance for the shoot! :) I can’t wait for Baby C to arrive and join the family! I had such a wonderful time photographing newborn photos for this sweet family! They were some of the most relaxed people I’ve worked with, and baby girl McKenna was such a joy to photograph! Some memorable parts of the shoot included baby M’s hair—it stood straight up and I thought it was something special to capture! I find it fascinating how some babies have a lot of hair, some have no hair, and some have hair that stands up! :) I also LOVED their bird-themed home (for those who don’t know, I love birds and birdwatching!).
