I had a lovely time working with the D family again and capturing the newest member of their family, Baby C! It means the WORLD to me when families come back to me year after year, and to be able to document their growth as a family. We started off with some precious family photos of everyone together, and it was such a sweet, tender, and fun time! I especially LOVED capturing their older son’s expressions and reactions as he interacted with his baby brother—he had the best smiles and giggles! :) I also loved the Winnie-the-Pooh theme nursery for Baby C! There were so many sweet and tender moments, and they are truly one of the most thoughtful and kind families I know. Congrats again, Mitch and Kirah, on your beautiful growing family!

Capturing newborn photos of Baby L was truly a joy! It was especially meaningful and special to capture this season of life for my dear friends, Makayla and Conner, and watching them transition to parenthood. One of the things that stood out to me from the session was that their sweet baby boy had the most beautiful blue eyes and strawberry-blonde hair! I also loved capturing the in-between shots of them smiling and rocking Baby L to sleep with the baby shusher :) I’m all about documenting real life, and it was such an authentic moment! It was an honor to capture these sweet newborn photos for this beautiful family recently! I had a blast working with Kimmy, Dennis, and Baby E. One of my favorite parts of this shoot was doing photos in the nursery! The light was amazing and the woodland theme was adorable. I also loved that they had a lot of Canadian things (as the parents are both originally from Canada!) and also had a lot of engineering books (b/c both parents are engineers!). The little personalizations and details are truly what makes each newborn session unique and special. Enjoy seeing more of my favorite moments below!
