I had such a blast working with Mary and David again and meeting their BEAUTIFUL baby girl, Peyton! I saw them a few months ago for their gorgeous morning maternity shoot at Dix Park, and I was thrilled to be able to work with them again and capture newborn photos of their little one. Baby P was incredibly adorable and had the most stunning eyes! I was amazed at how alert she was and how intently she would look at the camera (see photos below!) for being two weeks old! Most of the time, babies are usually sleeping during a newborn shoot so I often see their eyes closed :) However, we did get some cute photos of her sleeping peacefully and she was a natural on camera! I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Mazzarelli family again, and it was such a JOY to capture newborn photos of Baby N! The last time I worked with them was for their gorgeous sunset maternity shoot at the NCMA, and I couldn’t wait to work with them again! We had a relaxing session at their charming home in Durham and documented some beautiful photos in the bedrooms and nursery. One of the memorable parts of this shoot was capturing portraits against their vibrant teal wall in the nursery! It was such a unique and colorful backdrop, and gave a nice punch to the photos! I had such a wonderful time working with Emily, Jabari, and Baby Corinne as we captured some beautiful lifestyle newborn photos at home! They were SO relaxed during the shoot, and I loved how much they laughed and joked with each other! I think one of the memorable things that stood out for me during this shoot was the “I love you” theme on Baby C’s clothing :) It was precious to see that sweet phrase throughout the session!
