I had the wonderful honor of working with the Carvalho family again! They are truly some of the most cheerful and fun people I know, and they recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl to the family! :) We started with some photos outside on their porch and backyard, then made our way inside for some lifestyle photos around the nursery. One of my favorite moments was capturing them reading a book called, “I’m a Big Brother!” to their son. So far he has been loving being a big brother, and is such an affectionate kid! Most of all, I loved just seeing how happy they were all together! Baby Lilly was also such a chill baby, and I loved it when her brother got excited when she opened her eyes in her crib (see photos below!). Scroll down to see more beautiful newborn photos!

I absolutely LOVED capturing this gorgeous lifestyle newborn session of Baby Maggie! I think documenting newborn memories in your home is one of the most genuine, natural, and relaxing ways to remember the first few weeks of your baby’s life. It’s so much less stressful than having to go somewhere! One of the most memorable things about this shoot was how much Maggie wanted to eat! They already fed her prior to the session, and it was so precious to see how much she still wanted to eat during the shoot :) I also loved it when Maggie lifted her pinkie when drinking her bottle (see photo halfway down!). I had such an incredible and FUN time capturing newborn photos with this sweet family in Holly Springs! There was seriously so much laughter and energy during this shoot, and it was so fun incorporating Baby Evelyn’s big brother and two basenjis towards the last part of the session :) One of the most memorable things about this shoot was truly how upbeat this family was even when they are surviving on little sleep! Their joy and love for the newest member of their family was so evident, and I was so honored to be able to capture this precious moment for them. Congrats again on your growing family, Tiffany and Joe!
