I had so much fun capturing Baby E’s one-year milestone! I absolutely LOVED how much she would giggle and smile throughout the shoot, and seeing her learning to stand and walk was so adorable! One of my favorite moments from this shoot was seeing her play in her little red airplane (she had a cute knitted helmet too!). The JOY on her face was priceless and documenting her laughter was so sweet!

It was truly an honor to capture Baby E’s first year and see her growth at each milestone. There is an incredible amount of changes and development that happen within a baby’s first year, and being able to document these memories are worth everything. Seeing returning clients is one of my favorite things about being a family photographer! I had the honor of working with the Alexander family again, and I was so excited to learn they will be welcoming baby #2 in the spring!! :) During their family session, their adorable toddler LOVED running and the joy on her face when she got to run was priceless. She was also one of the most joyful and happiest kids I’ve met! I am ALL about capturing movement and authentically documenting the reality of the moment. I had SO much fun working with the de Jong family again, and we had a wonderful time capturing some Christmas family photos at their beautiful home! One of my favorite parts of doing family photos is capturing a sibling photo of the kids as well as individual headshots of each child. As most of you know, siblings are different and each child has their own unique personality! Some kids are more agreeable, some are more reserved, and some are super silly!
