Match Day 2021 was a few weeks ago and I had the honor to capture this very special moment for these two wonderful friends and medical students, Anna and Sarah. Their joyful reactions and expressions were truly priceless when they found out which schools they got matched to! They both got into their FIRST CHOICE schools for residency, and it was such a huge excitement for the both of them! Anna will be completing her pediatric residency at the University of Utah, and Sarah will be completing her anesthesiology residency at Duke University :) Every season of life is worth capturing, and documenting moments like this is something that will be cherished for years to come. This 9-month milestone shoot was SO fun from beginning to end! I had the honor of working with the Greiner family again, and their sweet baby girl was such a delight to photograph! We started off playing in her room, and she was obsessed with her unicorn, balls, and hearing her dad play guitar. One thing that made her laugh really hard, was hearing her parents’ snap their fingers! The joy and delight on her face was SO adorable! :) I also captured some candid photos of them playing with the Christmas tree, playing peek-a-boo, and eating some snacks! We then did the rest of the shoot outside and the sunset was BEAUTIFUL. The light was so warm and pretty, and truly highlighted the joy of being a family! If you’re looking to get some fun, festive holidays photos in the fall, I highly recommend capturing photos at the American Tobacco Campus! From December to January 1st, they decorate the campus with holiday lights, Christmas trees, wreaths, and more (and it looks super cool at night, too!).

I recently had the honor of capturing holiday photos for the Fletcher family, and it was wonderful getting to know them! I learned they had their baby boy AND moved to North Carolina all within the past 2 months, which is seriously amazing! During the session, I loved capturing how present they were and the way they laughed and interacted with one another. It was so genuine, and even their two-month old baby boy gave some adorable expressions :) I also LOVED his cute little beanie that said “SUPER STAR” on it—just see the photos near the end! :) Enjoy the wonderful highlights from this sweet family shoot!
