I had the honor of working with the Carroll family and capturing these precious newborn photos of their baby boy! They were so pleasant to work with and incredibly natural in front of the camera. One of the memorable parts of this shoot was capturing Baby B’s vibrant red hair (see below!) and their amazing safari nursery! I learned they love to travel and decided a safari theme would be fun to do for the nursery. I also LOVED the mustache pacifier they had for Baby B, and it totally matched dad’s cool mustache! :) See more fun and adorable highlights below from this beautiful newborn shoot!

I had such a wonderful time photographing newborn photos for this sweet family! They were some of the most relaxed people I’ve worked with, and baby girl McKenna was such a joy to photograph! Some memorable parts of the shoot included baby M’s hair—it stood straight up and I thought it was something special to capture! I find it fascinating how some babies have a lot of hair, some have no hair, and some have hair that stands up! :) I also LOVED their bird-themed home (for those who don’t know, I love birds and birdwatching!). I especially loved the beautiful, vibrant artwork in the nursery of hummingbirds and flowers! Enjoy some of my favorite highlights below!

I had such a blast working with Mary and David again and meeting their BEAUTIFUL baby girl, Peyton! I saw them a few months ago for their gorgeous morning maternity shoot at Dix Park, and I was thrilled to be able to work with them again and capture newborn photos of their little one. Baby P was incredibly adorable and had the most stunning eyes! I was amazed at how alert she was and how intently she would look at the camera (see photos below!) for being two weeks old! Most of the time, babies are usually sleeping during a newborn shoot so I often see their eyes closed :) However, we did get some cute photos of her sleeping peacefully and she was a natural on camera!
