I had the incredible honor of photographing newborn photos for this sweet family in Durham! It was extra special because I learned that they will be moving soon to Texas, and capturing this moment in time in their beautiful home was precious. It truly was a joy to work with Amanda and Taylor again, and this time with their newest addition to the family, Baby C!! If you recall their maternity session earlier this spring, I absolutely love capturing the way they laugh and connect with each other, and they truly have some of the best smiles! It was an honor to document this precious time with their baby girl, and it was beautiful to see the joy on their faces. One of the funniest parts of this shoot was their maltipoo, Boone, who’d snuggle up with them for all the photos! I had the honor of photographing this precious newborn session as this family welcomed baby #2! One of the unique things about this shoot was that we photographed this session at their rental home (they were undergoing renovations at their actual home!). Even though it wasn’t their “real” home, I often say it’s the people in the photos that make your images meaningful and truly what makes your family :) We still had a wonderful time together, and I loved how playful their older daughter was during the shoot! I also loved how alert Baby C was, and he LOVED looking outside and at the light—it was hilarious and adorable at the same time.
